
Pacman in 3d
Pacman in 3d was built as an experiment while in school. I was curious as to how the original Pacman would play out if you had the ability to switch from 2d to 3d views. The game play is essentially the same, but now with the ability to view the board in various 2d or 3d positions. This also allowed me to experiment with Directors 3d capabilities, as well as its Havok physics engine, which I used for Pacman's movement.
The game was built specifically to run on a PC, so a zip file of the executable is available for you to download. The key mapping and GUI may seem a bit odd, as originally it was built with the keys mapped to a joystick and used for presentation purposes. See the instructions below.
Instructions
To start the game, click the coin slot at the very bottom of the intro screen.
To move Pacman, use arrow keys.
To toggle cameras, click the camera buttons with the mouse.
To change the point-of-view, (available with camera 1 only), move joystick with mouse.
For 'Pac-view', click on Pacman icon on the arcade itself.
